Hello,
is there a way that i can build pages form a template or blueprint.
And that whenever i adjust the structure of this "template"
these adjustments apply on every existing page derived from the "template"?
For example change the order of two tables. The tables should
maintain their distinct content.
Or add a Gallery in the "template" and on existing derived pages
is added a new empty Gallery at the same spot.
Thanks for your help!
Hi @Jens Becker ,
I think with plain Confluence, this is not possible.
You can achieve something similar with the Scaffolding App from Servicerocket. This formular framework has a "Live Template" macro - you create a template using form elements and add new pages using the live template - macro. If you change the template, every page using this live template will be changed also.
There may be other apps as well providing such a functionality, but we are using this one and it works well.
But I don't know, if this is working with the gallery macro...
Hi @Jens Becker ,
@Thomas Schlegelis absolutely correct and using Live template is the way to go.
