Does anyone have any advice for completely clearing any paragraph and character formatting in the editor?
(I am aware of the Clear formatting command but that does NOT clear everything).
For example, the Confluence editor shows that a paragraph is Heading 2 but when I display in Scroll Viewport this is clearly not the case as that particular Heading 2 looks very different from other Heading 2s.
The formatting seems to be "sticky": even if I change to Paragraph and then back to Heading 2, the issue remains.
As another example have two Heading 3 that look identical in the Confluence editor but when displayed in Scroll Viewport, they are different in point size, space before etc (one is just a Paragraph with bold).
The main problem is that I cannot see the issue in Confluence, and when I want to fix in Confluence some previous formatting seems to stick (I can see this using View Storage Format) making it very difficult to fix.
Any advice appreciated.
(using Confluence Server 7.11.1)
This is an example of a wrong and a right Heading 3:
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 16.0px;letter-spacing: -0.006em;">Output </span><span style="font-size: 16.0px;letter-spacing: -0.006em;">parameters</span></strong></h3> <h3>Output parameters</h3>
from View Storage Format.

in these situations, when I want to get rid of formatting completely, I:
I hope it helps...
Thanks for the suggestion.
I think you are right: Notepad is the way out here.
Best regards,
