Dear Confluence Team,
I have a link to my Confluence page in Jira.
When I clicked on it a few days ago, I suddenly couldn't access all the pages I had created, because apparently everything was suddenly gone due to a Confluence changeover or a new version of Confluence?
Can you explain to me where I can find all my pages and content that I created last year?
Thank you
Best
Dan
Hi @Dan ,
Can you confirm you can access Confluence > you have Confluence license with the account with which you're trying to access the content?
It just seems you cannot access the whole space where this content is located.
Also, have you accessed this site with any account in the last year or so?
There is a data retention policy that says that if you don't access your site/free product for 120 days, the site will automatically be deactivated.
Cheers,
Tobi
@Tomislav Tobijas
Thanks for your feedback.
I am using Confluence Free Version.
Its important, that the page will be activated again, as i stored there very important informations, that i need to access. How can you or i reactivate the last version of our confluence page again?
Best
Dan

@Tomislav Tobijas
I received only one reminder.
After that i logged in to my Jira account.
Everything is there now, but the related confluence page with the same account doesent exists anymore. How this can be? I am using the same account and project for both.
So how can i get back my content?

Hi @Dan ,
Well, if you've logged into the site before this deactivation date, it should be available and all info should still be there.
Navigation has been changed, so I would recommend checking this "Spaces" menu (which is now on the left) and try navigating to your space.
Alternatively, you could navigate to https://<sitename>.atlassian.net/wiki/admin/permissions/space-permissions/allspaces (replace <sitename> with your site) if you're a Confluence admin, and see which spaces you've got. Then, just navigate to the space where these pages were stored and try seeing if the content is still there.
Also, you could run a space report to see which spaces you've got and to get a general overview of everything inside.
Cheers,
Tobi

Its blank. Just a new space (Bereich) is there, nothing else.
I dont understand it. I remember with the new version of jira a dialogue said create confluence. But at that time i didnt get it, because he was leading me through a dialogue to set up a confluence page for no reason, as with my link from my board from jira, he redirected me straight into this dialogue that i was following.
With the relaunch i wasnt apple to access my Confluence anymore

Definitelly wierd @Dan
We will hardly be able to debug this via the Community. My recommendation would be to start a free trial of Confluence Standard or Premium and then you'll be able to raise a request on Atlassian Support. Their support team has access to additional background info, which might help with troubleshooting this.
Once you get a resolution on the issue, you could switch back to Free plan.
Cheers,
Tobi
