Currently taking my 1st look at creating a confluence page template, and was looking to be able to add an 'Insert image' macro / interactable placeholder.
From searching so far I cannot find a method.
Just to clarify, I am not looking to add 1 image to my template, but rather a button that will prompt the user to add their own images (either by an 'add image' button or a placeholder image that is interactable).
Is this possible to do?
Is it possible to get an answer on this? I need to do the same thing, have the ability to not only allow the user who will utilize the template I'm creating with adding an image, but also video, sound, etc.
First challenge is the image. How do I add the ability to allow the user using my template, to add an image into a section I designate?
Hi @Ben Greene welcome to the Atlassian community.
You may try the "blueprints/ Templates" based on your Confluence permissions. Here are the helpful document links if you haven't yet explored:

Thanks for the reply, I am using templates already.
My question is if in my template I can add a variable / macro for adding images?
(Either by an 'add image' button or a placeholder image that is interactable)
These links dont seem to have info on that, nor could I find anything from my search prior.
