Confluence as Content Management System - Any addons?

Has anyone been using confluence as content management repository or system? 

We are looking for a solution so that we dont have to go to Sharepoint way. And since we have recently purchased licenses, I was wondering if anyone is aware of any addons or plugins that can be used to achieve this?

Thank you for your response Shannon. I just got to know that they are trying to migrate lotus notes database and looking at Confluence as one of their options.. would you be able to give any insight on that?

Hi Leena,

I'm not too familiar with Lotus Notes, but we do not currently have any migration path or integration for Lotus Notes.

There's a feature request below regarding that:

Regarding import, you can have a look here for details on how you can import external content into Confluence:

• Import Content into Confluence

You can speak to your administrator and see if there's a way to get the data from Lotus notes as either a Word document, HTML, or one of the other options listed from that page.

Thank you for your Response Kesha, however as I said that our team is strictly looking to move the lotus database to confluence.
