Hey guys ,i want to edit the dialogue box that appears after one has selected a date on the calendar . Attached below . How can i remove the what on the dialogue box below .is there a documentation or any other way i can do it .Ill appreciate for your insights .
Hey, @[deleted]
I'm doubtful if you could remove the "What" field. After all, this acts as the summary/title/subject of your event and I'm curious why you don't need it.
You can take a look at the official documentation for creating custom event types and replacing the built-in ones: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/add-and-delete-custom-event-types/
There is a public feature suggestion you can vote for and start watching for updates: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-51197
@Kalin U I do not need it because on the top of the dialogue box it will have already specified the type of event ...I am using confluence data server

Yes, I reckoned that. Thanks for the details.
Judging from this suggestion's status https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-51197 , I don't think it's anyhow possible to modify these fields at the moment.
Maybe you can try with custom calendar event types or reach directly to Atlassian support. They might have a workaround up their sleeves :)
