Hi,
I have installed Confluence 6.15.4 on Sles 12.3 with all newest updates.
I'm getting an error each time creating or trying to edit pages.
"This page is taking longer to load than usual. Give it a few moments, then try refreshing. Still having issues? Contact your Confluence admin."
First I thought it could be the linux permission on OS level, confluence was installed as root and there for the permission were root also, as I noticed this I changed the permissions to confluence:www, ran the script setup_user.sh with "sudo -u confluence ./setup_user.sh -d /var/atlassian/application-data/confluence -i /opt/atlassian/confluence" which should set all the permission to correct ones.
But still facing the issue. Any help with this?
check if you have "Collaborative editing" enabled, and Synchrony is running.
Do you have a proxy (nginx) running for Confluence?
best
André
Hi,
yes I had "Collaborative editing" enabled and Synchrony was running. But once I disabled it, the editing started working. What's causing this, we don't particularly need CE, but it wouldn't harm either. Any suggestions?
I'm running Apache2.
Regards,
Oskari

you have to adjust your apache2 proxy settings to fit for Synchrony.
