There's two ways you could be "linking Confluence to Jira"

If you are doing it properly with Jira macros and shortcuts, then all you need to do is update the application link to use the new Jira url.

If you're doing it with hard coded links (i.e. your users have entered the url as part of a link), then you will need to search and replace the content as a full fix, but I'd recommend a rewrite at the network level so the old name lands on the new url as well.

The only proxy information you need for a reverse proxy is the base url.  I'm getting lost in what you think you are doing now.

Set up a new application link, give it the application base url and authentication details for the other end, configure the return link and you're done.

Is the integration still working? check status on the application links page in the administration section.

The sanest option is not to change the url for jira. configure a redirect from the old url to the new one so that the application is reachable with the old url.  you could do this via a dns entry if your application is in the internet or a simple apache server running in front of jira.

For a more painful solution you can update the old links manually.

Hi Danyal,

Integration is not working. if we set up reverse proxy using apache, will the old links work
