Confluence is not starting Existing PID Fiöe found during start

Hi @Ralf Thmas Can you kill the existing process first ? and try restarting confluence ?

what is the output of - ps -eaf | grep confluence

i deleted catalina.pid and started. But still not start. I make an copie of productive into an sandbox.

I not get any website !

From the earlier screenshot it seems like the confluence has started successfully at 15:03.

You can check application logs to see the progress of the startup . It should be at YOURHOMEDIR/logs/atlassian-confluence.log

yes when i reboot i got this

than i restart manually . I got many errors Proxy . This is new copy into an Sandbox for migration Test

The errors suggests that there are some invalid characters in server.xml. Could you please rectify those first ? Since this is sandbox, you might not need all the settings that are configured in your prod server.xml.

now i removed proye entrys. Security to false. I get this

The error suggests that there might be some problem with your confluence.cfg.xml file. 

You could also try to generate a new confluence.cfg.xml file:

How to generate a new confluence.cfg.xml

and restart confluence.
