Confluence upgrade with expired maintenance.

Hi there!

We have an old Server version of Confluence 5.9.7 with expired maintenance on Jan 18, 2017.

Is it still possible to upgrade to 6.0.4 version which according to release notes was released on Jan 16, 2017?

Hi @4A Games

You need to update the valid license before going to upgrade to v6.0.4.

If you don't want to purchase a commercial license, as a workaround, you can use an evaluation license and do the upgrade.

So in general the steps are:

1. Get evaluation license

2. Update to 6.0.4

3. Put old license back

and it keep working with newer version under old license.
