Control size and info in user profile macro

It would be very helpful if we could toggle between different views of a user profile macro. 

Just like embedding a smartlink allows for customization, the user profile sometime needs to be just a picture, or just a name and position, or the entire details (Full name, Email address, Job title, Department, Based in, Local time)

There's a feature request that might be related to your requirement: CONFCLOUD-65285: Include additional information for 'User Profile Macro' 

It's a bit older so I would get my hopes up but I would suggest leaving a vote and a comment related to your specifics as it might impact how (and when) this will be developed.

As for smart links for user profiles > e.g. https://<sitename>.atlassian.net/wiki/people/<user-id>, these will be transformed in the smart URL but it won't display additional info such as job title, department etc. when you use 'card view'.

I've tried checking if there's an open suggestion for it, but it seems there isn't one yet. I would suggest reaching out to Atlassian Support and discussing it with them as they could, potentially, create a new feature suggestion based on that.
