Create a confluence group programmaticaly

I'm developping a confluence plugin and I want to create groups using the atlassian sdk. I can't find a manager/service to help me.

Is it possible?

Thanks a lot for your answer, nice way to navigate through the api.

I'm afraid, I can't see any Manager class to do it. I see the addGroup/createGroup methods, I don't know how to use them  regardless of the plugin dev guide.

I will continue to look a the api, if you have ideas how they can be used, I'll take it.
