Hi,
Can someone provide help on how we create a form in Jira/confluence. We want to be able to send users this form in order to populate a ticket in our ticketing system. Rather than providing them a link where they will have to find the click button and only having a pop up at the bottom of the screen to fill out the form. Is there a workaround?
In Jira Cloud, there is a feature called "Issue Collector", all needed informations are documented here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-the-issue-collector/
The issue collector allows you to easily embed a Jira feedback form into your own website. This form is typically accessed by clicking a 'trigger' tab exposed along the edge of pages in your website.
When used by people visiting your website click this trigger tab and submit the resulting Jira feedback form, an issue is conveniently created in Jira.
Visitors to your website do not require a user account in Jira to use the Jira feedback form.
You can configure the issue collector with all needed fields and embed it anywhere you want...
I hope this helps.
Dam.
