Create a group

Hi,

I want to create a group with users so I easlily can add a group to a page, but I can;t find how to create a group. I dont see the user management panel. 

Who can help?

Can you please confirm if you are using Confluence Data Center/Server or Cloud version ? For group management, you should be part of Confluence Administrator/Site Admin special group. If you don't have that access, you won't be able to create groups yourselves and need to contact concerned admin team to help you with this. Hope this helps.

I'm using Server/Data Center. I think I have all the rights but I'm not sure.

Hi Floris,

If you are Confluence Administrator, to add a new group:

1. Go to  > General Configuration > Groups.
2. Choose Add Group.
3. Enter a name for your group and choose Save. Group names must be lower case.

You're now ready to start adding users to the group.
