Deep dive into tables?

Is there a Confluence Table Master's Dojo? I've asked around the office (not done yet) and have been told I will need to look elsewhere. I'm a Confluence padawan and need help with something like the attached.

test2.pngFor the moment, the way I hand-painted that pixel masterpiece, if my user needed to add SA 02 we would color that group green.

I hope this makes sense, I'm new to this so please forgive if I'm out in left field. Questions abound (and our versions are so old it makes me feel young).

Thanks!

Hi Robert,

We have kept the built in tables pretty simple, here's the doc: Tables.

However, our partners have developed a smorgasbord of table related apps/add-ons for Confluence: Confluence table add-ons Atlassian Marketplace.

Please check out some of the free trials and see what you can achieve. The add-on vendors frequent this forum so come on back with any follow up questions. :)

Thanks,

Ann

I do appreciate the quick answer, Ann. I did not know the add-on vendors are here. Good to know.

I can say for sure, production is Confluence 4.3.7 but I don't see how to identify the add-on version number?  Meanwhile now I see https://bobswift.atlassian.net/wiki/questions and will pursue access to that page.

Thanks!

Hi @Robert Leachman - If you go into each add-on's page, the version compatibility is listed at the top of the page.

For example, if I go to Table Filter and Charts for Confluence, which is the first add-on listed on Confluence table add-ons Atlassian Marketplace, the third line of text from the top should say which versions are compatible (ex: "for Confluence Cloud, Confluence Server 5.6 - 6.8.1 and more versions"). This particular add-on provides other versions that are compatible with earlier versions of Confluence if you click "and more versions".

We actually ended support for Confluence 4.3 (per Atlassian Support End of Life Policy), so it might make sense to upgrade to a supported version of Confluence and then choose a compatible Marketplace add-on for longevity.
