Does the Confluence search give you the total figures for pages you can and can't see?

Hi there,

I was recently asked to provide figures based on the total number of pages created last month. I used the search engine to filter Created Date Last Month and Type Page:

The results showed 1175. Does that number include or exclude pages I'm restricted to see? I need a way to provide accurate stats to our management team. 

We will be migrating to cloud soon, Does the same question apply to the cloud version of Confluence as well.

Hi @Martin James Why use the search?  Confluence has analytics at the admin level, this report allows you to set dates and will gives you the ability to export the results to a csv file.  It will show newly created pages as well as some other metrics.

Hi Craig, thanks for your reply. The Analytics feature is only available with a Confluence Data Center licenses.
