Confluence was working fine and today I got the following error when trying to log in:

message Confluence is vacant, a call to tenanted [public abstract org.hibernate.Session org.hibernate.SessionFactory.getCurrentSession() throws org.hibernate.HibernateException] is not allowed.

Hello,

Were there any changes recently made to Confluence or server it's installed on? Like name change? localhosts file modification? Network changes?

This error typically is logged during install as outlined in Confluence generates Confluence is vacant error on install KB, and fixed by making sure Confluence can ping localhost with ping `cat /etc/hostname.

If you can ping your localhost and get the right IP, it could also be caused by Confluence going up before DB was ready. If that is the case, could you verify your DB is up and reachable, there is enough free space on DB server, and if everything is fine, restart Confluence to bring it back up and reconnect to DB.

Let me know how it goes

Regards,

Igor
