Hi community,
Is it possible to export an issue in PDF format from Jira Software to a Confluence space?
Thanks in advance,
Best regards! :)
Óscar.
Hello @Óscar Ramos !
Óscar, I can tell you that we can surely export issues from Jira. Here we can see the options available for Jira Software Server:
If you select to "Print List", Jira will give you the option to print a list of the issue you are currently viewing.
The path we have available, with built-in features, is this:
- Export the issue to Word
- Open the word file
- Select to save as PDF
- Save the file in Confluence
If you need or want to export the issue directly to PDF from Jira, you can try out this plugin:
The plugin above is available for both Jira Server and Cloud.
After exporting the file to PDF, you should be able to attach it to a Confluence page. Here is some information on attachments:
I hope this helps you! Looking forward to your reply.

Hello Diego,
Is it possible to generate a PDF and send it automatically from Jira Software to Confluence? We know how to perform the process manually but we would like it to be automatic.
Thanks in advance,
Best regards! :)

Hi, Óscar! Natively, there is no such solution. What you could try is to script a workflow for this to happen every time a PDF is created within Jira.
