Hello:
In Confluence OnDemand, I added an Excerpt macro to a page and copy and pasted content into the macro. Wehn I save the page, however, the formatting is way, way off, and in strange ways. I added an Excerpt-include macro on another page, and the content looks just right on that page! I have added other Excerpt macros and they are fine, but this one is definitely not. Here is what it looks like in edit mode:
In edit mode, the text at the top of the Excerpt macro looks just fine, like it did before I copied it inot the macro. However, if I run Preview or Save, the text looks like:
As you can see, the text is plenty messed up, in ways that don't even make sense. It's especially weird that the text on the page with the Excerpt-include macro, i.e., the mcro that is drawing from this macro, looks fine:
Any help/advice would be most welcome...
Scott
No one answered this so I submitted it to Support.
What was the solution - please? Having a very similar issue with formatting with the MultiExcept Include and really need the solution so we dont end up duplicating out of date copies from one page to another

Hi @Mark Pitt !
I am a member of the MultiExcerpt dev team, and we would like to hear more about the issues you are experiencing. Can I ask you to open a support ticket with us? We could discuss the problem you are experiencing in more detail there.
Here is a link to our support portal (you can file a bug report):
https://artemis.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/3/group/3/create/12
Please describe the type of content you are experiencing problems with (table, anything else?). If possible, please provide us with some screenshots.
Our support team will answer any additional questions - we will troubleshoot your problem and try to fix it if possible.
Best Regards,
Lukasz Pieczatka

Hello @Mark Pitt ,
I am a developer at Appfire and I work closely with our support team. We have your case and have been posting to it regularly. We can tell that there is some kind of access issue on that ticket because we have been posting questions and information to you in your ticket but we only see messages like "Is anyone there?" from you. We do not think you are seeing our messages in your ticket.
The first comment in the ticket is from our bot and it says, "This issue was reported from the portal while the user was not signed into an account."
So, we suspect that you may be using different users and that is leading to access problems. Atlassian's user federation, with portal users, "regular" Atlassian users, and people with multiple Atlassian users can make things hard to get right with respect to user access. We have a Jira support portal from Atlassian.
Your ticket number is SUP-4196 so maybe you can search your email on all of the accounts that you use at work? Including your spam folders?
It might be easiest if you reopen the ticket but make sure that you are logged in as your work Atlassian user when you do that.
I will at-mention Leslie, who has been trying to contact you via your ticket: @Leslie Gilbert {Appfire}
