I am an intermediate-level programmer who has worked successfully with APIs to interact with MailChimp, Monday, and other commercial platforms for general consumers. My Python scripts were communicating with the apps in just a few minutes.
Not so with Confluence Cloud. I have not managed to get a successful reply of any kind to various attempts at calling the API.
An example of a functional line of code in Python, Groovy, or pseudocode would be very much appreciated--as would a confirmation of what the baseURL is for a Confluence Cloud site.
Review the Atlassian documentation, a find a number of different answers--but none that has resolved this practical obstacle for me so far.
