Hi all,
I have a brand new workspace in Confluence where I have created two pages. In the sidebar on the left, I configured the page tree to display 'Page tree'. The Page tree displays the two created pages, but it does not display the homepage as the parent page.
I have checked the order of the pages in Space Tools and the hierarchy is correct. I also checked to see if the homepage in Space Details is correct, and it is.
Does anyone know what I am missing in my configuration?
Thank you in advance,
Roberta
This is by design: Page tree displays all pages BELOW the homepage. You can change it to child pages to also display the home page, but when traversing down the hierarchy, you will only see the parent page, the current page & the children of the current page.

Roberta,
Go to Space Tools --> Configure Sidebar --> Navigation display options --> Select Child Pages (instead of page tree)
The above steps will have the Home Page on the sidebar.

This does not work for my version of confluence (cloud). Also in the cloud documentation I cannot find any information on how to change the sidebar. Only settings I could find are these:
In short:
What I am experiencing is that by changing the homepage of a confluence space, I inadvertently change the "tree-view" of my sidebar. Meaning that I would never set a different homepage than the default one.
Annoying, but nothing of highest priority in my mind.

Stefan
