Hi Atlassian Community,
I am an external support user with super admin rights in the Confluence Administrators group. I need to remove myself from a specific space that contains sensitive data, so I no longer have access to it.
However, when I try to remove my own permissions from the space, they automatically get restored due to my admin role.
Is there any way to permanently exclude myself from a space while keeping my admin rights for the rest of Confluence?
Thanks for your help!
Hi @Ivan, You can remove the admin groups from the space permissions or remove all the groups and grant access to individual users. You can also ask them to use the parent page restriction and grant access to individuals.
After doing all of this directly you can not access the space but using the administrative key you can access.
Hi @Manoj Gangwar
thank you for the your response. So basically after I removed all the groups from the space permissions and grant access only to individual users. I can still access the space.
So I will have to ask them, to use the parent page restriction and only grant access to individual users?

Yes, ask them to restrict the pages so only users with the granted permissions can view and access them.
