Good afternoon everyone,
I would like to know if I can modify the autosaving parameters for the pages created inside the Space where I'm admin.
The problem is that sometimes I have to write down minutes of meeting that has a long duration (almost 4 hours) and it could be nice if the system automatically saved the page as a draft every X seconds.
Is it possible?
I saw that Confluence as a default "30 seconds" autosaving time; where the "draft version" are stored? I highlight this issue because unfortunately my PC went down during a meeting (while I was writing a minute) and I lost the page.
Is there a solution?
Thank you
Amedeo
Hi @Amedeo welcome to the Atlassian community.
From your point, "Confluence auto saves every 30 seconds", I believe the same setting can be adjusted if you have access to server.
As a site administrator, you can set the time interval at which drafts are saved as follows:
If you aren’t already there, go to your Confluence Cloud site.
Select the settings wheel () in the top right corner to open site settings.
Select Further Configuration from the sidebar (under Configuration).
Select Edit.
Adjust the Draft Save Interval to meet your requirements.
Select Save.
Good morning @G subramanyam ,
thank you for the answer.
I don't think I have the access to the server, maybe because our Confluence site is administrated by our Company.
As you can see I don't have the wheel in the top-right corner
Is there the possibility to know where the draft copies are saved?
Thank you again,
Amedeo
