How can I add a countdown timer with stop start functionality to a confluence page?

Jenine Borowik November 13, 2020

Hi,  I am setting up some online group discussions where the key points will be captured by facilitators (using comala boards and sharing their screen through MS Teams).    We would like to add to each page a countdown timer which counts back from (e.g.) 30 minutes to 0 to alert each group to the time left to complete the work, with the functionality for the facilitators to start/stop the clock.

I have installed the Countdown macro but it does not appear to have start stop facilities.

Are there any other (easy) ways to do this?

Thank you for any help!

Hi @Jenine Borowik

That sounds like a really interesting use case for Comala Boards. Could you contact me via https://support.comalatech.com with a few more details of how your workshops work and how your facilitators would want to manage the countdown time.

Thanks in advance

Hi James

I have sent some more details.  The boards work well for workshops :)

Best Regards
