How can I assign multiple Tasks to one Due Date/Assignee without multiple @ assigns?

Hello,

I've been wondering and struggling with the Task Concept of Confluence.
I wanted to create a Task List with certain Subtasks in a form similar to this:

  • [] Task //Due Date @Assignee
    • [] Subtask without // or @

The problem with this is the fact that I have to add an Assignee and Due Date for each Task individually for it to properly show in a Task Report, but this seems a littel bit chunky when I have a page repeating a name 50 times.
Is there a way to do this? If not, workaround or not?

Hi Nicolas,

This is not currently possible in Confluence, but I have created a feature request for it:

My recommendation would be to vote on and watch the request, and also comment there with your usage case. This will help us greatly.

Thank you for your understanding!

Shannon

Hi Shannon,

I was trying to find an answer to this question as well.

Based on the description of the listed feature request, it is for assigning one task to multiple people.

Myself (and Nicolas) would like to assign multiple tasks to one person without needing to assign each individual task to the same person. Is there a feature request for that to follow?

i.e.

@Person1

  • [] Task 1
  • [] Task 2

Person would see all tasks under their name in their task list; and in a task report, it would list that person as the assignee on all tasks in that list.

Rather than

[] Task @Person1 @Person2

Where Person1 and Person2 would both see one task.

Whoops! Thank you for pointing that out. I actually linked the wrong Feature Request. Here it is:

I've also made a new one for the multiple tasks under one user request:

At this time, it's only possible to use this format:

@User [TASK] due date

For each task.

I hope that's clear!

Shannon
