A colleague created a page with several tabs on it and I want to edit a page that is one of these tabs. I have write access to the whole page, but when I click on "Edit" I get a small rectangle with "Childtabs" and a red square. If I click on that I get a new window showing the tabbed page, but asking questions I don't understand.
I don't want to "break" the page, so can anyone tell me how I can edit a page that is one of the tabs?
Hi Chris,
to help you here I think we need some more information. There are a lot of ways to get tabs on a page (user macros, bough apps etc.) so we don't know for sure HOW they got on your page and if the content is embedded from another page (so you would have to edit a different page) or created within the macro. Could you provide some more details please? Or screenshots of the questions you don't understand? Thanks!
Best,
Max
Max,
Many thanks for your reply. Talking to colleagues over the weekend, one of them had the answer. On the left hand side instead of selecting the page that contains the tabs, select the actual tab you want to edit and press "Edit" and you can update that page. Simple really, just needed someone to point this out.
Regards,
Chris
