How can I move plugin-apps from PROD environment to TEST environment?

Claudio Cocciatelli May 21, 2020

Hello to everyone,

I copied Confluence instance(confluence-home, configuration, etc.) from a PROD environment to a TEST one. The only things that miss are plugin-apps that we have in PROD environment. Is there a way to copy this apps in Confluence TEST environment?

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

Claudio

Hi @Claudio Cocciatelli ,

just install the add.ons in the TEST system again via Marketplace.

Hi Andrè,

Thanks for your answer.

I cannot connect to Atlassian Marketplace because our server is not connected to marketplace: so I download the add-ons and I'm trying to upload using Universal Plugin Manager in Confluene but I'm meeting this error:

2020-05-21 18:22:12,104 ERROR [http-nio-80-exec-3] [common.error.jersey.ThrowableExceptionMapper] toResponse Uncaught exception thrown by REST service: org.apache.commons.fileupload.FileUploadBase$IOFileUploadException: Processing of multipart/form-data request failed. Do you have any advise for this point?

Thanks in advance,

best regards,

Claudio

Hi @Claudio Cocciatelli ,

check the permissions, as the message says

C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Confluence\temp\upload_13df54a3_8d7b_4b65_b742_97b4f2e3ea85_00000001.tmp (Access is denied),

I guess you running under windows, so please check the windows permissions for the user running the Confluence.

Best regards and stay healthy

André
