How can I set < @self > as the standard defalt for the Page Tree Macro?

I just realised that from the drop down I literally never choose <@home> #honest

Going through the docs though, I see no option to make a default for either Space or all of  Confluence.
Been through a load of Conf' Settings on Site Admin level. Nothing cooking.

Though luck buddy, you can't set a default in a confluence macro, only if you setup a template.

In the template you can add the macro and set the @self as a default, when using the template.

As much as I am PISSED that I need a template just for that, it is a good work around.
