Now that Confluence has the notion of space blueprints, I'd like to create my own space blueprint to match a documentation style we use. I don't see instructions for this in the online documentation. Is this possible?
Thanks, Hossein. I didn't realize it required writing a plugin. I was hoping I could create a "prototype" space that I could save as a template or blueprint.
By the way, it looks like the page you referred me to needs to be updated. The develop your own blueprints link in the second paragraph doesn't lead anywhere. It looks like maybe it should lead to https://developer.atlassian.com/display/CONFDEV/Confluence+Blueprints. Additionally, the Space Blueprint development page is https://developer.atlassian.com/display/CONFDEV/Space+Blueprints.
I really don't like that to create a space blueprint (space template) you need to develop a plugin. Is there an easier way to do this for normal admins?
I would like to add some pre-defined page structure and templates to the Team Space.

@Hossein,
It seems like we are talking about two different things. The question here is about SPACE BLUEPRINTS. The new feature that was just released with Confluence 5.3 that allows new spaces to be created with a "template", like so:
Instructions for developing a SPACE BLUEPRINT found here https://developer.atlassian.com/display/CONFDEV/Write+a+simple+Confluence+Space+Blueprint
You keep answering back about a different topic: Blueprint Templates, that are basically page templates. And in summary are these:

It would be great to get an answer for Peter's original question. And I would ask Peter to unmark his answer as accepted answer.

Hi,
Our Add-on Page Tree Creator works a bit different than the Confluence blueprints / templates. The PTC-templates are based on normal confluence pages and therefore creating a PTC-template is as simple as creating a Confluence page. Of course you could start creating your PTC-blueprint based on an existing Confluence page.
Try our Live Examples (no registration needed).
