The new Confluence editor is a disaster.
It has many options, but to do simple things like just create a page is now very difficult. Confluence gave me a 4 inch marging on the left side of my content and I have no idea how to get get of it.

Any ideas?

Hi @Robert Orlowski and welcome to the Community.

If you hover your mouse over the heading of a page in the 'edit' mode, and when the options menu appears, you can set the full width.

You can also playe with the width of the table (and other elements) by grabbing a 'handle' that appears on the side of an element:

As for creating a page, it's just a question of hitting + in the when you hover over a page (parent page of where you want the new page to be) and selecting Page.

Hope this helps

To simplify, Confluence lets you choose the way you present your content and adjust content width indirectly:

  • Click the Page Layout button in the toolbar (icon with multiple columns).
  • Choose a single column layout if you want the widest text area (smallest side margins).
  • Switch to multi-column layouts to create more white space on the sides (larger margins).
  • Combine with the full-width toggle (if available in your instance) to expand the content area.
