How do I hide pii information to open Confluence up to entire team?

Hi guys, 

We have recently locked the wider team out of our confluence client area to protect the personal data. 

A lot of the team need access to be able to see documents such as SOW and BRD for information. Does anyone know a way of allowing them access but not allowing them to gain access to all the personal data?

Hi @Laura Potter ,

You can use restrictions.

When you click on that highlighted symbol. you can able publish restrictions as who can (View / Edit) by entering their email / username / display name

Does this have to be done on each individual page? or can this be done as a bulk change?

We have emails and numbers inside our docs (SOW & BRD) so would want to hide that info so the team only see the relevant info to them. 

Any idea on how to do this?

You can create  groups with different users and choose groups for restrictions. it will less some manual efforts.
