How do I include an external web page in Confluence

Swathi Sainadh January 17, 2019

Hi,

I have a React app/ single-interactive page with forms that needs to be integrated with my Confluence Server Instance (6.13)

I have gone through SPARK, seems like it has existing templates in Angular and it has not been recently updated.

I believe iframe would work in this scenario, but what are the other cons of using iframe apart from XSS. I tried HTML include macro, but it doesn't load up my page.

Is there any other better alternative or existing plugin to achieve this.

Thanks.

Hi @Swathi Sainadh,

The SPARK framework allows you to integrate any single-page-app no matter if you use Angular or React into Confluence. I use it a lot e.g. for space admin or global admin UIs as well as for custom xwork actions.

To get support (also asking for some updated docs) please use official forum at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/spark-framework

Best, Tobias

Thanks you for your reply Tobias

It would be really great if you can help me out with this issue-

I need my web component to load up on my confluence page (not like dialogs, and for non-admin users). Is it possible with SPARK?

I'll also post on official forum, but that doesn't seem to be much active.

Cheers,

Swathi
