The link macro in Confluence Cloud used to allow a lot of options but after the recent upgrade I can only put in an address to link to. I can't work out how to link to a heading on a page.
There seems to be a lot of functionality removed in the recent update - Code block, links, wiki markup etc, have these been removed so you can make people pay extra for them?
@CherylI can understand your frustration, surely there are lots of feature missing in so called New-Experience for Confluence with no workaround as of now. But,
Now, coming to your case of Link Macro, in link I have added above please take a look at section - Auto-convert internal links, I think this will help you.
Confluence Team/Atlassian Team please jump in to add more clarity in favor of New-Experiance.
It's actually the linkable heading section of the "Improvements". It took me a while to realise that you have to exit editing every time you want to copy a link then go back in to paste it.
I've also found a bug when trying to put two images next to each other on a page in the two even columns section of page layout. It is happening every time I save the page.

I tried to upload a file containing the error message to the page and this form became stuck and I had to exit out, so another bug can't upload images to this forum.
Here is the error message from the bug mentioned above:
