Help! I created a page and somehow did not create it in the correct category. I need to move it to a different category. There is plenty of documentation on how to move a page to a new space. That's not what I need. I need to move it to an entirely different category.
Hi Laureen,
What do you mean by "category" in Confluence? Label, different place in the page tree, space category? Maybe screenshots would help to understand your question.
Carolyn
Hi Carolyn,
Thanks for your question seeking clarification. I think I mean space category. Sorry, I never quite got the Confluence terms quite right. I'm attaching a screen shot. Right now, these regional fact sheets live in a space in the Archive category (I think and hope I am using the "category" term correctly). I need to move it to the Reference category. When I click on "move," the only choices I get are spaces, not the 3 main categories on our wiki. Any advice you can offer would be most welcome.

Hi Laureen,
Your screenshot does clarify a lot- thanks for taking the time to follow-up.
It does look like your administrator has done some customization with an app/add-on, and so you should probably contact them to get help with the structure they set up.
You can also see what's under "Reference" and see if any of those links correspond with spaces you can move the page to.
Good luck!
Carolyn
