How do I set the homepage of a space to default?

I created a Space called IT Documentation. Unfortunately, I cannot see any content in the Homepage/Overview page just like other Spaces I have created. 

I can see this,

I do not want to set the Space home to any other page. Instead, I would like to see the homepage as a template attached below.

Can anyone please help me achieve this?

Hello,

If you are using Confluence server, can you check your space orphaned pages if your home page is there? From Space Tools > Content Tools > Orphaned Pages if your home accidentally went there?

If not, you can copy your desired home page from other space into new IT space and then use Reorder Pages section to move it to root or page tree, after that, go to Overview section and change your Home page to new page.
