I want to remove a user from Confluence and want to reassign the pages to a new member
Is it okay if i remove him from confluence groups?
I do not want to pay for them as well
How do i reassign their spaces and pages to another person?
Hi @Seema Abrol
You can deactivate the user's accounts. The spaces and pages will stay active and you can add new users to the permissions for that Space. Deactivated users do not count toward your license.
I can give you a more detailed answer on how to deactivate the account, if you need it, if you can tell me if you are on the Cloud or Server product

Hi Seema,
Here is the corresponding Atlassian doc for "How to disable a user" in Confluence. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/delete-or-disable-users-138318.html
Please note that depending on the user user directory this might be different (see last paragraphs of the article).
Best, Tobias

Hi @Seema Abrol - you can also delete users - spaces and content they created will stay the only exception is personal space. For this you need a workaround (it's still there but you won't see it)
