Hi everyone,
How often do I need to utilize Confluence, Service Management, Software on a free plan? We haven't used Confluence recently and received an email stating it would be deactivated if we didn't start using it.
What do I need to do to keep this environment active? Will one post keep the site active?
Thanks.
From memory, I think the period is around 4 months. I had a reminder about one the other day, and while I've every intention of using it, the last time I hd the time to look at migratiing up was around the end of May.
One single login should do the trick in theory, but to be on the safe side, make a page update (even just starting a draft and wandering off or deleting it - that puts something in the database that says you used the system)
Just confirming this from the Atlassian side - we send reminder emails at 60 days and 90 days of inactivity (logging into the site, viewing a page). At around the four month period we do send another email about a day before the site is suspended. I would suggest not ignoring the warning or suspension emails - we do delete the sites that have been suspended for a short period of time.

@Daniel Eads Will updating a page in Confluence prevent the deactivation? Or can I just login into the Confluence section of my environment?

A "view page" activity will prevent deactivation. Jira and Confluence are evaluated separately however, so you do need to be active in both products in order to reset the respective active periods.
