Hi Community,
We upgraded Confluence to version 8.4.0. I'm noticing a "Low free space" error. Though /var partition is 60% used. Our backups and attachments are stored in /mnt, so /var just has logs and other config files since we are using Confluence DC. I googled about the space error and found an article from the Atlassian website about changing the threshold. I added the below property into /opt/confluence/bin/setenv.sh file and restarted Confluence but I'm still getting the error. I'm unsure if the file and line are correct.
CATALINA_OPTS="-diagnostics.os.min.free.disk.space.megabytes ${CATALINA_OPTS}"
Error from atlassian-confluence.log
ERROR [alert-dispatch:thread-1] [confluence.alert-log] log 1692664083994 ; ERROR ; OS ; OS-1002 ; Low free disk space ; not-detected ; ; ; {\"directory\":\"/var/atlassian\",\"freeInMegabytes\":6236,\"totalInMegabytes\":15338,\"minimumInMegabytes\":8192}
Can someone help me with this? Thank you!
@Shah Baloch Here is the documentation that talks about why you will get this warning and how to fix it (you need to allocate additional disk space or you might just need to clean-up log files) https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/health-check-free-disk-space-local-home-985106350.html
Thank you @Brant Schroederis there a way to change the threshold? I mean there was 40 to 40% of space was available but it was showing the low space error. Is there a way to change the threshold to show the error when 15 to 20% of space is left?

@Shah Baloch It should only be notifying you if there is less than 10% disk space left. You might see how the disk is allocated and if there is something else impacting it.
