How to arrange spaces by numbers

Eugenia Kashcheeva May 11, 2018

Hello,

I have more than 20 spaces in "All my spaces" that must be arranged in numerical order.

When I make 10, 11, etc. it comes before 1.

If I want to to make 1.1, 1.2, etc., it comes before 1 also.

Are there any ways to arrange correctly?

Thank you in advance!

Hi @Eugenia Kashcheeva and welcome to the Community!

Are you using numeric values at the beginning of the space name?

If so, would using a strict 2 digit pattern address your problem?

01 - First space

02 - Second space

etc...

Hi @[deleted], thank you for the prompt response!

I made like this: 1 - First space, 2 - Second space, etc.

Or 1 - First space, 1.1 - subparagraph, 1.2 - second subparagraph, etc.

I will try from 01, thanks a lot!

But what should I do in case if I will need a lot of subparagraphs? Should I write 01.1.10 or 01.1.010 then?

@Eugenia Kashcheeva, what do you call subparagraph? Are these pages in the space?

The pages can be ordered manually within the space, which mean you would not need a leading 0 for those: 01.1.10 will work (you do not need 01.1.010).

If I understand your structure requirements properly, it would look like this:

01 - First space

1 - Top level page

1.1 - Sub-page

1.2 - etc...
