How to browse labels in Confluence Cloud

Randy Elias October 18, 2022

Hi All,

Following the instructions here, I can't access the the URL to browse labels in Confluence. Anyone else running into this issue? Is there a workaround?

Thanks,

   Randy

Hi @Randy Elias ,

Just checked, the URL still works as described in the documentation – at least on my test instances. Please note, that you need to set a space key at the end. Even if you adapt the example URL to your instance, if you do not have a valid space key, you'll get a "Page not found" error.

If you want all labels from all spaces, you can simply use the URL with the key parameter. So for example, like this:

https://YOUR-INSTANCE.atlassian.net/wiki/labels/listlabels-alphaview.action

If you have a certain space you want to know the labels of, with the space key PM say, you can use the URL like this:

https://YOUR-INSTANCE.atlassian.net/wiki/labels/listlabels-alphaview.action?key=PM

Finally, if you want to dive a bit deeper into the world of Confluence labels, I can make the totally biased recommendation to take a look at Magic Labels, our own app for managing and working with labels – things like renaming labels or using #hashtags to add labels.

 Hope that helps,
 Oliver

Thanks @Oliver Siebenmarck _Polymetis Apps_

That space key before "key" fixed the issue. Thx!
