How to check whether the CLI is working or not in confluence?

I want to check the CLI or any other plugin if it is working or not in the confluence version 7.4.1.

The most simple way to test an app is to try using one of its functions.

Is "test it is working" what you really mean when you say "check"?  I suspect you might be meaning something different?
