How can I create banner space-wise as a Confluence Standard Admin?
By using the Announcements module of the Admin, I am not able to publish the announcement.
The only possibility I got from K15t is to get a banner on the site by injecting custom CSS or custom Javascript into the site.
Again, it is not certain if we can achieve this space-wise or if this is something global.
It is not possible to create banners per space, it is only possible for the whole Confluence instance.

Thanks, @Staffan Redelius
Can you confirm whether it is by design or if it is in the roadmap and being checked for priorities?

What is the recommended way to create banners on the Confluence instance?
By injecting custom CSS or any other way?

Hi,
Did you follow this KB: Post Confluence-wide announcements in a banner | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian Support

Yes @Mohamed Benziane
Thanks for your response
Checked this out, but this didn't work for Confluence Standard Admins, and again, I believe this is for Confluence users internally, for private users, not for Scroll Viewport for the public.
I got the Announcement module in my UI, created an announcement by filling all fields but could not publish it. By hitting the Publish button it brings me back to the blank page to create the announcement again.

@Navira Zainab I just did this today on my Confluence Standard site for the first time, so I know it is possible. The only thing I could not do was the scheduling options. I'm not sure why yours wouldn't publish. I would think that you could not even see the page if you don't have permissions to publish an announcement.
With regard to your comment about Scroll Viewport, your Viewport site is a website, not a Confluence space/site, so the Confluence announcement would not appear there. If you want something to appear in your Viewport site, you could edit the theme and add the text there somewhere (depending on what layout you are using). The Scroll Viewport documentation can help you there.
