We are setting up a documentation space for a client using Confluence. This space is about different kinds of role definitions. Any user can request to change but whenever there is a request to change two kinds of notifications should be generated:
1. To a team of validators who will validate the change(and then admin will make changes)
2. To a team who will be informed about the change
Can I enable this functionality in Confluence at parent/child page level?
Welcome to the Atlassian Community @Prateek Mangal
Using Comala Document Management plugin you can setup simple approvals or more advanced workflows to assign approvers to your documents, ensuring that the content is reviewed and signed-off.
If you don't want to invest in a plugin, you can simply ask users to comment on the pages which will trigger a notification to page viewers/editors (you can add your validators group/admins to the page), which they can review and make changes as needed and reply back to the comment.
Thanks a lot Kishan for the solutions. I had thought about second option but had no idea about option 1 of plugin, will explore that also.
Also can you confirm if we can tag a user group in comments? It is not working in my trial version of Confluence.

Glad to help @Prateek Mangal I can see there's a suggestion to mention groups in comments but then I saw this post as well which states that it is possible to mention groups. So you can give it a try to see if that's working, otherwise you can vote and start watching the feature request /suggestion I mentioned earlier.
