How to get a date element to display as dd MMM yyyy?

I have set up the date format under the Confluence administration:

However, when I include a date element the date is showing as MMM dd, yyyy:

How do I correct this issue please?

Hi @Glyndwr Bartlett 

Can you try adjusting your profile language to match the preferred date format. For example, selecting "English (UK)" will display dates in the "dd MMM yyyy" format.

You can do this by going to their profile settings, selecting their language, and choosing the desired option.

For instance, users with English (US) settings will see dates in the format "Apr 16, 2025" and German will see dates as 16.04.2025.
