Referring to the grey sidebar showing page titles on the left side of the screen.
We use a large amount of nested pages, and for one folder I have now made an overview of this using the page-tree macro. Ideally I would like people to be able to click on the parent folder, see the page-tree macro and use that to navigate further (as it's less load time, they have a search bar, etc.). However, once they click on the parent folder (not the expand arrow, but the folder) it already automatically expands to show all the underlying folders. Is there a way to turn this off? Aka to have the folder only expand when you click the expand-arrow?
I understand this very well might not be possible, but I wanted to see if you guys had some ideas, just to be sure. Thank you!
Hello there, @Dara ! As I understand, you need to keep the children pages from showing up when you select their father. For short, this behavior is not configurable.
You are right. When we select the father page in the sidebar it will automatically expand to display its children.
This means that if you have a page that has ten children, all of them will show up in the sidebar as long as that father page is selected.
Let us hear from you, Dara.
Hi Diego, Thank you for your response! I figured that was probably the case, but good to know I should indeed stop looking for a way to configure this. Hop you have a nice day and a good weekend :)
