Hi,
I have HTML pages that was extracted from another Confluance to HTML format. How do I go about to import this data onto our Confluance ?
The data (HTML) pages are currenlt in a zip file and we would like to import this data onto Confluence as a new page. Hope someone has done this before?
Kind regards
The best strategy would be to export the pages again, but to XML rather than HTML. XML backups can be restored in the Admin console under Backup and Restore. Please see Import Content Into Confluence
Other than the text import under Space Tools, there is no mechanism within Confluence to import the HTML pages; you could use the HTML Macro to display it, however, or put the HTML in a directory and try the Import a Text File method.
Hi Ann,
Thank you for the above. We saw that we dont have the Backup and restore option under administator and I think its due to the fact that we run the cloud platform. Seems like I will have to look into this a bit furter to see how we can import this data.
We will try to see if we can get the HTML Macro.
Kind regards
