The editing experience of a Confluence blog entry is different from a Confluence page. This is annoying but maybe workable, I hope you fix it soon. But there is a challenge that I need help with more urgently. In Confluence one can link to an anchor by specifying the pageName#anchorName but this seems to not work in a Confluence blog. What am I missing here? How do I link to an anchor from a blog entry?
Hello Rahav, we should be able to use Anchors and links using pageName#AnchorName in blogs, the same way we use them in normal pages.
Can you elaborate more on the "this seems to not work in a Confluence blog" part?
Is the issue with inserting anchors, or are the links created not bringing the users to the page with the anchor?
Let me know if you have any questions as well.
Cheers,
Sattesh Maran
@Sattesh M OP is right. I am facing the same problem as the OP.
It is really frustrating. Any solutions please?
Creating an anchor works well. But will linking it to a text using Cmd+K, the anchor doesn't show up in the drop-down suggestions of the suggested link. Moreover, there's no advanced linking option in a blog-post feature.
Looks, like anchor linking feature is not available in the Confluence blog feature.

I am running into this same issue. Additionally if you copy a Google Doc in with anchors already enabled they are not honored.
