How to make an autocapture field to record the date a form is being submitted

Hello, 

I want to create a field in a Contiform that will capture the date the form is being filled out. The field can be hidden to the person filling out the form, but I do need it to show up in table view. 

How can I do this?

Hi @Lori Wilson and welcome to this community

The created date (actually the whole timestamp) is captured for you automatically in ConfiForms

It is available under the "created" field, among some other metadata fields available in every ConfiForms record

Just drop a ConfiForms Field macro with a field name's parameter set to created inside your view macro
