Hi,
when I'm using the search function it gives me like the worst results as possible. If any...
For example, we have a lot of "customer spaces" like
When using the search function we don't get any results by typing "s", "se", "sea", "sean" and etc. We need to type the exact name "Sean's Cupcake Museum" to find that customers space.
Is it possible to narrow down the search results only to the main space site, instead of all child pages and so on? Our employees are using Confluence by first searching for the customer, then finding relevant information under that specific customer's space child pages.
Kind regards
PROBLEM - "See all results for ____" ignores label added to livesearch macro.
I am trying to use live search to search specific pages with a label. Therefore, it searches across all Confluence pages and only pulls back pages with the label. Here is a screenshot of my live search macro with the label:
Doing the initial search in the search bar, the few options displayed is fine.
Clicking "See more results for ___" completely ignores the label that I created the search macro to only search. Therefore, it shows absolutely everything - not what we want.
The side bar shows that there is no label specified - why does this happen and how can we make sure it doesn't ignore the label?
I understand we're sharing these sources and suggesting locking down pages to specific users would be asinine in my case since our company has over 24,000 employees.
You could create a start page with a live search macro only search pages contain a specific label. That label should then be set on the start pages of each space.

So the search function is just this bad?
Added a live search to a page, filtered to a label that I have set to all space sites. Still I need to type the exact and full name before Confluence finds that page.

You could just add a * after your search term...
