A new user joined our organization
I just realized that I invited the user to confluence before the person's email account was activated
As a result of this, they are not getting the verification email from confluence
We are using a Trial version of confluence, is there a way to delete the user and readd them again?
I looked into the support pages and steps pointed out in the pages arent reflecting in my screen
Thanks a ton!
@Aishvar Muralidharan Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
As long as the user has a license + Product Access, they should be able to get to confluence. All you need to do is give them a link/url to the space they should access.
Also, make sure that the user has access to the space.
But just having the URL, Confluence should be smart enough to redirect the user to sign in and then get to Confluence. There shouldn't be a need to delete the user and re-invite.
Thank you Alex for this
But the problem is as follows :
I generally create a user (that is I tag a user's name in the comment section and I get a + icon which helps me to add that user to Confluence)
Then the user would be getting an email from confluence asking them to create a password for their account
But what happened here was, the user did not get the verification email and I am guessing this is because their email account was created after I created the user in Confluence
So to workaround this, I am trying to delete this user from confluence so that I can read them again but I am not able too find the option to do so
Thank you

@Alex Ortiz - This is exactly what happens when the user tries to login
The problem is, Confluence sends an email to verify, but I guess because the email account was created after creating the user in confluence, the user is not receiving the verification email

I suspect the issue may be tied to us still using the 'free' account. Perhaps options are only available to paid accounts?
